After six months of work by the WordPress community, WordPress 2.5 is now ready. The improvements in 2.5 are numerous, and almost entirely a result of user feedback.
Here are some of the features:

Lisa does emphasize that the work is not completed, so things will look a little bit different by the time the design is completed.

Enhanced Feeds On Wordpress

When I wrote my post yesterday on adding ads into your feeds I didn’t realize that wordpress.com had implemented the ability to add stuff into your feeds when your blog is hosted there, just a few days ago.
As of last wenesday, 12/18 your wordpress.com blog feeds can have the following feed widgets:
